Just remember not to hit enter because that makes the box expand and hide other parts of your layouts, which rather royally messes it up. You can put images, text, GIFs, glitter things, any thing you like really, in here. You can either highlight all this text and start typing or get rid of all but one or two letters, type a few words, get rid of the extra letters and start typing. Don't get rid of all the text that's in here at once or the entire box will go away. All images were found in an Allowable Images search. This layout is made by Cass, AKA thewarrenranch. This is a scrolling text box- it will scroll around when you put enough text in it. If it does the error thing, first re-paste the code making sure that's all you get and that you have all the code, make sure you don't do anything in HTML mode after pasting but just go right to normal mode, and if it still won't work, drop me a line- I likely have a problem with it. You accidentally deleted some code in HTML edit mode, or 3. You didn't copy and paste all the code, or did but accidentally got other spaces and text from above and below the code at the same time, 2. If, when you try to save this, you get a red error message saying your HTML is formatted wrong, it could be one or several of three things. You've got to be in HTML mode for this to work right. Just don't delete all the text at once or the box will disappear! If when you save your page the layout code is all you see and not the layout itself you've did it in normal mode and not in HTML Edit mode. Anyway, paste this in HTML edit mode and then click normal mode and you can start typing in these text boxes here. Put yours either above or below any other code, or delete the other code. ![]() Make sure your HTML does not get pasted into any other existing HTML or you'll get a random mess of text, images, scroll boxes, and error messages. Anyway click that and then on the left side of the edit page should be a "HTML mode" button above the faces. I think it's supposed to be pliers or something. ) In order to get this thing into your page, you just go to your page and click the little U shaped button in the top right corner of it. You can put in as many text boxes as you want once you learn how to recognise the HTML code used in this profile layout. This is useful when you are putting in images so that you can see them all. This text box has no overflow box set so it just gets bigger and bigger the more you type. You need to be in the correct HTML edit mode. If when you save your layout all you can see is code then you have pasted in the wrong place. Now you can paste your layout HTML code and save the presentation. This shows the html edit mode page - notice that the Howrse edit icons at the top and the smiley faces have disappeared. Click on this before you paste your layout code and you will be taken to a new page. Over on the right hand side by the smiley faces is a green HTML mode edit button. As you have the HTML code for your layout you will need to change the edit mode BEFORE you paste your layout code. You can modify - change, reinitialize - start again or set out the display options you want - width and height of your presentation. On the right hand side you will see the links to change your presentation. To go to your page use the following Howrse menu links - profile, my page. You can easily change your Howrse profile. If this still does not work generate a new layout and make sure you choose all the options. If you get an error message when you save your presentation click on save again. If you want to it is easy to generate a whole new layout. Once you have generated your layout you can easily change the image and overwrite the text. Remember not to put any personal information here and to stay safe on the web. You can use the howrseinfo ready made layouts for your personal profile page and also for your equestrian center profile. ![]() Use different fonts and write about yourself and your horses.
